BRIGHTON — “You’re not squeamish about needles, are you?” Edo (a-doh) Zylstra asks.
And with that question still hanging in the air and open for debate,
the owner of KinetaCare, 2418 E. Bridge St.,
Brighton, inserts the harmless looking, small filament needle into his
right arm.
As he bobs the needle back and forth in his arm, a
nerve in his arm twinges. Just as quickly, Zylstra plucks the needle
from his arm with no scream of his own or the observer.
But he
has also given a very basic demonstration of the revolutionary new
physical therapy technique Zylstra is using inside the Brighton
physical therapy office to give chronic pain sufferers relief.
